FS 601 Elastomeric Firestop Sealant is virtually unaffected by temperature changes, air and dirt exposure, and movement. This long life is attributed to the inherent chemical stability of silicone elastomers. A seal made of FS 601 Elastomeric Firestop Sealant, if applied properly and subjected to normal, anticipated use, will not peel, crack or crumble with age.
